Maldonado Concrete is an insured concrete contractor based in Knoxville, Tennessee. Concrete is all we do — driveways, patios, slabs and foundations, sidewalks and walkways, and stamped work — for homeowners and builders across Knox, Blount and Hamblen counties.
When you call, Jhonny answers. Not a call center and not a salesman who hands you off to a crew you have never met — the person on the phone is the person who will be standing on your pour. He takes calls from eight in the morning until nine at night, seven days a week, because most people can only deal with this after work.
Estimates are free and in person. We come out, walk the actual job with you and give you a real number, instead of guessing at it over the phone. Knoxville, Maryville, Alcoa, Morristown and about sixty miles out from there.
What Makes the Difference
Jhonny takes the calls and works the pours. What you agree on in person is what happens on site.
Most people can only deal with a driveway after work. The phone is on from 8am to 9pm, seven days a week.

Grade and forms
The ground gets cut, filled and compacted, and the forms go up to line and grade. This is the step a cheap bid skips, and the reason it cracks.

Steel in
Mesh or rebar sized to what the slab will actually carry, tied and set before the truck ever shows up.
04
Pour and finish
Poured, screeded, floated and finished in one operation — broom, smooth or stamped — with the joints cut so the cracks land where we put them.
05
Cure and walkthrough
We tell you straight when you can walk on it and when you can drive on it, clean up the site, and walk the finished job with you.
